Jose Bolado Sr. started his custom clothing business 43 years ago. Today his two sons, Carlos and Jose Jr. are carrying on their father’s legacy. The sons are also active in the business community as well. Jose Jr. is currently on the Board of Directors of the Business Improvement District within the city. The mission of this organization is to restore the economic vitality to the area. This is being achieved by restoring historical areas and improving the shopping atmosphere. Today, the Miracle Mile region in Coral Gables is a shopping destination for locals and tourists.
Beautiful Coral Gables is also home to the “U”, or University of Miami and Bacardi Headquarters.
